Mission, Copyright, AI Disclosure & Disclaimer

Information about the Podily network, how our podcasts and related content may be created, the limitations of that content, and the responsibilities associated with listening to or using it.

Important artificial-intelligence disclosure

Unless Podily expressly identifies a particular program, episode, segment, article, image, voice, recording, or other element as entirely human-created, listeners and visitors should assume that any Podily content may have been created, written, researched, summarized, translated, edited, narrated, voiced, illustrated, mastered, organized, published, or otherwise assisted by artificial intelligence, automation, synthetic-media technology, human contributors, or a combination of these methods.

Listeners must independently research and verify information

Podily content may contain mistakes, omissions, outdated information, incomplete context, incorrect interpretations, inaccurate quotations, or artificial-intelligence-generated errors. Every listener and visitor is responsible for conducting independent research and verifying information through original documents, primary sources, official records, reputable independent publications, and appropriately qualified professionals before relying on, repeating, publishing, sharing, or acting upon anything presented by Podily.

Our Mission

Podily’s mission is to create a broad and accessible global network of podcasts for different interests, needs, moments, languages, and audiences. Our programming may include educational discussions, history, news commentary, culture, entertainment, true crime, mysteries, politics, business, personal development, public-domain works, relaxation audio, ambient sound, fictional programming, and other subjects.

We aim to make audio programming easier to discover and available to listeners around the world. Podily may use technology, automation, artificial intelligence, human creativity, editorial judgment, licensed materials, original recordings, research tools, and production systems to develop and distribute content efficiently.

Our goal is to inform, entertain, inspire, document, explore, and help listeners relax. However, Podily content is not guaranteed to be complete, current, accurate, error-free, suitable for every listener, or appropriate for every purpose.

Artificial Intelligence and Automated Production Disclosure

Podily uses or may use artificial intelligence and automated systems throughout its creative, editorial, technical, production, and publishing processes. These technologies may be used independently or together with human writers, researchers, editors, producers, engineers, narrators, performers, contractors, and reviewers.

Assume Podily content may involve artificial intelligence

To provide the clearest possible notice, listeners and visitors should assume that every podcast, episode, program description, title, transcript, article, summary, promotional image, cover, voice, sound element, translation, caption, metadata field, social-media post, advertisement, or other item associated with Podily may contain or consist of artificial-intelligence-generated or artificial-intelligence-assisted material unless Podily explicitly states otherwise.

The absence of an AI label on a specific episode, webpage, image, recording, feed, podcast application, or distribution platform does not mean that artificial intelligence was not used. Platform interfaces, character limits, metadata restrictions, syndicated feeds, older publications, technical errors, or third-party distribution systems may prevent a disclosure from appearing beside every individual item.

A general disclosure on this page is intended to apply to Podily content throughout the Podily network and on third-party services where Podily programs may be hosted, syndicated, embedded, streamed, downloaded, promoted, or distributed.

AI may be used for any production function

Artificial intelligence and automation may assist with or perform functions including, without limitation:

  • Generating ideas, research prompts, outlines, scripts, questions, episode topics, titles, subtitles, descriptions, summaries, show notes, and metadata.
  • Researching, collecting, organizing, comparing, paraphrasing, translating, or summarizing publicly available information and other source material.
  • Drafting, revising, proofreading, editing, translating, fact-checking, formatting, or adapting written material.
  • Generating, modifying, enhancing, synthesizing, or processing voices, narration, dialogue, music, sound, ambient audio, photographs, artwork, illustrations, graphics, and podcast covers.
  • Creating fictional speakers, hosts, narrators, characters, names, conversations, performances, interviews, reactions, or simulated discussions.
  • Scheduling, publishing, categorizing, tagging, distributing, recommending, updating, or republishing content.
  • Removing noise, adjusting volume, mastering recordings, creating transcripts, producing captions, and completing other technical production functions.

Human involvement may vary

The amount and type of human involvement can vary significantly between programs, episodes, and other materials. Some content may be conceived, written, recorded, edited, or reviewed primarily by people with limited technological assistance.

Other content may be generated primarily or entirely through automated or generative systems and then reviewed, selected, arranged, edited, or published by a person. Some content may be automatically created and distributed with limited or no advance human review.

References to a Podily “writer,” “editor,” “producer,” “researcher,” “host,” “narrator,” “team,” or similar role do not necessarily mean that every part of the associated content was personally created, spoken, investigated, or individually reviewed by a human being.

Synthetic and generated voices

Podcast narration, dialogue, introductions, conclusions, advertisements, translations, dramatizations, interviews, commentary, or other spoken material may use synthetic, cloned, generated, modified, processed, or computer-produced voices.

A voice may not belong to a natural person even when it sounds realistic, emotional, conversational, spontaneous, or human. Pauses, reactions, laughter, disagreements, questions, vocal imperfections, and conversational speech patterns may also be generated or simulated.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, the use of a generated voice does not indicate that a real person participated in, endorsed, approved, sponsored, or was aware of the recording. Host and narrator names may be fictional names, stage names, production identities, characters, or labels assigned to synthetic voices.

Podily does not intend a fictional or synthetic speaker to impersonate, falsely represent, or imply endorsement by an identifiable real person. Any unintended similarity in voice, appearance, wording, personality, biography, or other characteristics may be coincidental, generated, generic, transformative, satirical, fictional, or the result of commonly available production styles.

Accuracy, Errors, Omissions, and Independent Research

Podily makes no representation or warranty that its content is accurate, complete, current, reliable, properly sourced, unbiased, correctly pronounced, correctly translated, or suitable for any particular use.

Content may contain mistakes, omissions, outdated information, duplicated material, incomplete context, incorrect names, incorrect dates, inaccurate quotations, misattributed statements, unsupported conclusions, transcription errors, translation errors, pronunciation errors, technical artifacts, or artificial-intelligence-generated inaccuracies and hallucinations.

Artificial-intelligence systems may generate statements that sound confident, detailed, specific, polished, or authoritative even when those statements are incomplete, misleading, unverifiable, misunderstood, or incorrect. Human contributors, editors, researchers, and producers may also make mistakes.

Editorial review, automated fact-checking, source comparison, the inclusion of references, professional-sounding production, or publication by Podily does not guarantee that any statement is correct.

All listeners must conduct their own research

All listeners and visitors are responsible for conducting their own independent research and verifying any information presented by Podily before relying on it, repeating it, quoting it, publishing it, sharing it, recommending it, using it as a source, or acting upon it.

This responsibility applies to all subjects, including history, politics, elections, government, law, crime, science, health, medicine, mental health, personal safety, finance, investments, taxes, employment, business, religion, public figures, current events, biographies, products, services, and any other matter.

Listeners should consult original documents, primary sources, official records, court records, government publications, direct statements, reputable independent reporting, academic research, and appropriately qualified professionals whenever accuracy matters.

No Podily program, episode, webpage, transcript, description, title, quotation, summary, host statement, or generated response should be treated as the sole source of information for an important decision.

Content may become outdated

Information may change after publication. Episodes may remain available as historical recordings even when subsequent events, discoveries, corrections, court decisions, elections, scientific studies, public statements, or newly available evidence have changed the understanding of a subject.

Podily is not obligated to revise, update, annotate, replace, or remove previously published material merely because information has changed. The date on which an episode or page was originally published should be considered when evaluating its reliability.

Corrections do not guarantee completeness

Podily may correct, clarify, edit, update, restrict, replace, or remove content after publication. A correction may be made without a separate public announcement. The correction of one issue does not mean that an episode or page has been comprehensively reviewed or is free from other errors.

Report a concern or possible error

We welcome good-faith notices concerning possible factual errors, rights issues, attribution concerns, technical problems, misleading statements, sensitive personal information, or other content concerns.

A notice should identify the program and episode, provide the direct URL when available, include the relevant timestamp or quoted passage, describe the disputed material, explain the concern, and provide reliable supporting documentation.

Podily may review, correct, clarify, update, restrict, replace, or remove material at its discretion. Submission of a notice does not guarantee a response, correction, removal, or other particular action.

Commentary, Opinion, Fiction, Speculation, and Entertainment

Podily programming may combine factual reporting, historical summaries, commentary, opinion, speculation, criticism, creative interpretation, reenactment, dramatization, satire, fictional dialogue, hypothetical scenarios, storytelling, generated conversation, and entertainment.

Not every statement should be understood as a verified assertion of fact. Questions, theories, possibilities, allegations, reported claims, quotations, competing explanations, rumors, disputed accounts, or descriptions of controversies may be presented for discussion without Podily adopting or endorsing them as true.

The inclusion of a claim does not establish its accuracy. Repeating, summarizing, or discussing a statement made by another person or source does not mean that Podily agrees with or independently verifies that statement.

Views expressed in a program may be generated for discussion, assigned to a fictional speaker, supplied by a contributor, derived from source material, or presented to explain competing perspectives. They do not necessarily represent the views of Podily, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, distributors, hosting providers, advertisers, licensors, or business partners.

Sensitive, Mature, and Potentially Disturbing Content

Some Podily programs may discuss crime, death, murder, violence, abuse, sexual assault, terrorism, war, disasters, discrimination, addiction, mental health, suicide, self-harm, medical conditions, politics, religion, paranormal claims, conspiracy theories, or other mature and potentially distressing subjects.

Listener discretion is advised. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether Podily content is appropriate for children or other individuals in their care.

Descriptions of crimes or harmful conduct are provided for documentary, historical, journalistic, educational, analytical, or entertainment purposes. They are not intended to encourage, glorify, instruct, facilitate, or endorse illegal, dangerous, violent, abusive, or harmful behavior.

Suspects, Accused Persons, Victims, and Unresolved Cases

Content about crimes, suspects, accused persons, persons of interest, victims, witnesses, public figures, private individuals, businesses, organizations, or disputed historical events may include allegations, theories, reported claims, publicly available records, disputed statements, or unresolved questions.

Unless a conviction, admission, or final legal determination is clearly stated, references to suspected or alleged conduct should not be interpreted as a declaration of guilt. Every person is entitled to the legal protections applicable in the relevant jurisdiction, including the presumption of innocence where applicable.

Podily does not encourage listeners to contact, confront, accuse, threaten, harass, identify, dox, investigate, surveil, or target any person discussed in a program.

Listeners should not interfere with law-enforcement investigations, court proceedings, private property, witnesses, victims, suspects, family members, or other individuals connected to a case.

No Legal, Medical, Financial, or Professional Advice

Podily content is provided for general informational, educational, documentary, creative, and entertainment purposes only.

It is not legal, medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, financial, investment, tax, accounting, employment, insurance, engineering, security, emergency, safety, or other professional advice.

Listening to a podcast, visiting a Podily website, submitting a message, or interacting with Podily does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, therapist-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, advisory, employment, confidential, or other professional relationship.

Do not delay seeking qualified professional assistance or disregard professional advice because of anything heard, read, viewed, or inferred from Podily content.

In an emergency or potentially dangerous situation, contact the appropriate emergency service, government authority, or qualified professional in your location.

Relaxation, Sleep, and Ambient-Audio Disclaimer

Relaxation, sleep, meditation, nature, white-noise, soundscape, and ambient-audio programs are intended for general entertainment and relaxation. They are not medical treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent insomnia, anxiety, stress, tinnitus, mental-health conditions, neurological conditions, or any disease.

Do not listen to sleep, meditation, or deeply relaxing content while driving, operating machinery, supervising dangerous activities, or performing any task requiring full attention.

Listeners are responsible for selecting a safe volume. Prolonged exposure to audio at excessive volume may cause discomfort or hearing damage.

Third-Party Names, Brands, Platforms, and Materials

Podily may discuss or refer to people, companies, organizations, books, films, recordings, websites, products, services, platforms, trademarks, copyrighted works, news reports, court proceedings, public records, and other third-party materials.

These references may be used for identification, commentary, criticism, reporting, education, historical discussion, comparison, review, parody, or other lawful purposes.

Unless expressly stated, Podily is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, approved by, or officially connected with the people, businesses, brands, organizations, government agencies, publishers, or platforms discussed.

All third-party trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, titles, copyrighted works, publicity rights, and other intellectual-property rights remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply ownership by Podily.

Links, embedded players, feeds, advertisements, distribution services, and references to third-party websites or platforms are provided for convenience. Podily does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, security, privacy practices, terms, content, advertisements, recommendations, data collection, moderation, or conduct.

Privacy, Public Records, and Personal Information

Podily content may discuss information appearing in public records, news reporting, court documents, published interviews, social-media posts, books, documentaries, archives, or other publicly accessible sources.

The discussion of publicly available information does not guarantee that the information is correct, current, complete, lawfully published by its original source, or appropriate for every use.

Anyone submitting a privacy concern should identify the specific program, episode, URL, timestamp, information at issue, and reason for the request. Podily may consider the public interest, newsworthiness, historical value, existing public availability, legal obligations, editorial context, and applicable law when reviewing a request.

Availability, Changes, and Removal

Podily may add, change, update, reorganize, edit, replace, suspend, restrict, or remove any program, episode, feed, webpage, feature, description, image, voice, file, or other content at any time, with or without notice.

Podily does not guarantee that any website, podcast, episode, feed, download, transcript, embedded player, application, or distribution channel will remain available, uninterrupted, secure, compatible, or free from technical failures, lost data, transmission errors, malware, harmful code, or unauthorized interference.

Podcast applications, hosting providers, advertising systems, search engines, social networks, and other third parties may independently alter metadata, insert advertisements, remove content, delay publication, change availability by territory, or display information differently from Podily’s own websites.

User and Listener Responsibility

Access to and use of Podily content is voluntary. Listeners and visitors assume responsibility for deciding whether content is appropriate for them and for evaluating the accuracy, usefulness, legality, and suitability of any information before using it.

Users are responsible for their own decisions, conduct, communications, publications, research, purchases, financial actions, health decisions, legal decisions, political decisions, safety decisions, and other actions arising from or related to Podily content.

A listener should not present Podily content as verified fact merely because it was delivered in a professional podcast format, spoken by a realistic voice, accompanied by detailed information, or published on a recognized podcast platform.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Podily does not warrant that content will meet a listener’s expectations, accomplish a particular result, remain available, or be accepted by any third party.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Podily and its owners, affiliates, licensors, employees, contractors, contributors, producers, distributors, hosting providers, vendors, and service providers will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or other damages, losses, costs, claims, or injuries arising from or connected with access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance upon Podily content or services.

This includes, without limitation, damages or losses arising from errors, omissions, inaccuracies, artificial-intelligence-generated content, reliance on information, emotional distress, reputational harm, business interruption, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data, device damage, third-party conduct, platform actions, unavailable content, or decisions made based on Podily material.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The applicable limitations will operate only to the maximum extent allowed by law.
